ARTICLE I. MISSION AND GOALS

Section 1. Statement of Purpose

The mission of the Educational and Community Synergy (ECS) Graduate Student Organization at Texas State University is to provide social, academic, and professional support for Educational and Community Leadership (EDCL) graduate students and alumni. ECS cultivates learning, community, leadership, and transformative impact through the interconnected commitments to Grow, Connect, Lead, and Transform.

Section 2. Statement of Affiliation

ECS is affiliated with the Educational and Community Leadership Program (EDCL).  EDCL faculty members shall serve as the organization’s faculty advisor and liaison.

Section 3. Activities Statement

All activities and functions of the organization must be legal under University, local, state, and federal laws.
